Operations Manager

To Tatou Vai Authority is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as Operations Manager. 

This is a senior management role responsible  for leading and overseeing TTV’s operational functions, including Water  Network Operations, Water Treatment, Laboratory Operations, Asset  Management and Project Management. 

The role reports  to the Chief Executive Officer and supports the delivery of safe,  reliable and efficient water services through strong leadership,  effective planning, compliance, risk management and stakeholder  coordination.

What They’re Looking For:

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Experience in utility operations, water treatment, reticulation, asset management or project management

• Good understanding of health and safety, compliance, risk management and operational standards

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering and preferably degree, qualification in Utility Management

• At least 10 years’ experience in a senior operations role within a utility environment

Stores Person

To Tatou Vai Authority is seeking an organised and reliable individual to join our team as Stores Person. 

This role is responsible for the effective and  efficient management of TTV’s Operations stores, supporting the Network,  Treatment and Projects divisions. 

The role includes monitoring stock  levels, managing stock movements, supporting purchasing  processes, maintaining accurate records, completing stock  reconciliations, and working closely with Finance and operational teams  to ensure stores processes are properly managed.

What They're Looking For:

• Strong organisation and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams

• Experience in stores management, procurement or finance-related work

• Successfully completed Level 3 NCEA

• At least 5 years’ experience in stores management

Water Treatment Technician

To Tatou Vai Authority is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as Water Treatment Technician. 

This is a technical role within the  Water Treatment division, supporting the safe and efficient operation of  TTV’s water treatment plants and associated water infrastructure. 

The  role includes assisting with water sampling,  plant monitoring, maintenance activities, consumable stock checks,  equipment and instrument care, water quality compliance, health and  safety practices, accurate record keeping, and training in drinking  water treatment.

What They’re Looking For:

• A great attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Good communication skills and reliability

• NCEA Science-based subjects at NCEA Level 2 or Level 3

• 0–2  years’ experience in operating a treatment plant, or experience in  electrical, building, plumbing or infrastructure industries
