About Them

They operate two of Aitutaki’s most loved dining establishments - Koru Cafe & Bakehouse and Wokkai Eatery. As part of Aitutaki Dreaming Ltd, they’re committed to sustainability, using eggs from their own free-range chickens, fresh produce from their aquaponics system, and creating everything from scratch.

The Role

They’re seeking talented chefs to join their kitchen team. You’ll work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, creating delicious dishes that showcase fresh, local ingredients and sustainable practices.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services

• Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients from their farm and aquaponics system

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols

• Work collaboratively with their kitchen team

• Contribute ideas for menu development

• Support their farm-to-table and sustainability goals

What They’re Looking For

• Professional chef qualifications or equivalent experience

• Proven cafe/restaurant cooking experience

• Strong skills across breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation

• Understanding of food safety and kitchen operations

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Reliable, organised, and works well under pressure

• Passion for fresh, sustainable cooking

• A right to work in the Cook Islands (or eligible for work permit)

Bonus Skills

• Bakery experience

• Asian wok cooking experience (perfect for their Wokkai eatery)

• Farm-to-table cooking background
