About Us

Koru Cafe & Bakehouse is Aitutaki’s go-to spot for fresh-baked goodness and great coffee. They’re part of a unique farm-to-table operation where they use eggs from their own free-range chickens, fresh produce from their aquaponics system, and bake everything from scratch daily.

The Role

They’re looking for an enthusiastic baker to join our bakery team. You’ll work alongside their existing crew, helping produce the breads, pastries, cakes, and treats their customers love.

What You’ll Do

• Bake fresh breads, pastries, and sweet treats daily

• Prepare doughs, fillings, and icings

• Help maintain their quality standards

• Keep the bakery clean and organised

• Work with their team to keep everything running smoothly

What They’re Looking For

• Bakery or pastry experience (formal training or hands-on experience)

• Reliable, punctual, and ready for early morning starts

• Good attention to detail

• Team player with a can-do attitude

• Food safety awareness

• Right to work in the Cook Islands (or eligible for work permit)
