About Us

Koru Cafe & Bakehouse is one of Aitutaki’s favorite cafes, known for great food, excellent coffee, and warm island hospitality. They’re part of a unique farm-to-table operation where sustainability meets exceptional service.

The Role

This is their secret weapon position! As a Cafe All Rounder, you’re the versatile team member who keeps everything flowing smoothly. One hour you might be making coffee, the next you’re helping in the kitchen, then jumping on the register or running errands. If you love variety and thrive on being busy, this is your role.

What You’ll Do

• Serve customers with genuine warmth and efficiency

• Work the register and handle transactions accurately

• Make coffee and prepare drinks (barista training provided if needed)

• Support kitchen operations as a kitchen hand

• Run errands, deliveries, and shopping trips

• Keep the cafe clean, organised, and welcoming

• Step in wherever the team needs you most

• Provide exceptional customer service with a smile

What They’re Looking For

• Outstanding customer service skills and a naturally friendly personality

• Flexible, adaptable, and happy to work across different areas

• Reliable and punctual

• Quick learner who can multitask without getting flustered

• Valid driver’s license (for deliveries and errands)

• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• Professional appearance and presentation

• Right to work in the Cook Islands (or eligible for work permit)

Nice to Have

• Previous hospitality experience

• Barista skills

• Cash handling experience
